• I keep receiving the following message in my error log: “PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 90497400 bytes) in /wp-content/plugins/worker/src/MWP/Http/JsonResponse.php on line 21.

The setup is running on a dedicated server with 64 GB of RAM and an SSD NVMe hard drive with more than enough free space. What the heck is causing this to exceed the capacity?

  • Hello Markus,

Thanks for reaching out to us. From the look of it, this error occurred because the PHP process running the ManageWP Worker plugin has reached its configured memory limit of 256 MB. To resolve this, can you please try to increase the PHP memory limit to 512M or higher? If the issue persists, could you open a ticket or send an email with all the details to helpdesk@managewp.com so the relevant team can investigate further?

    Kindly,
