chat room problem

A chat room shows in the first “Messages” tab only for users who are participants of the room, and only if the room is not hidden from the inbox. Please check two settings:

1. Go to WP Admin → Better Messages → Chat Rooms and open your chat room settings. Find the “Hide chat from user inbox” option and make sure it is disabled — when it is enabled, the room is only accessible from the Rooms tab and the page where the chat is placed, and it never appears in the Messages tab. Most likely this option got enabled for your room. Save the settings after changing it.
   
2. In the same settings, if you want the room to appear in everyone’s Messages tab automatically, enable “Auto join users” (users are joined when they visit the chat room page), or use the “Automatically add” checkboxes in the roles table to add specific roles. Users who have not joined the room will not see it in their Messages tab. Also make sure “Auto-remove inactive users” is disabled, otherwise participants are removed from the room after a period of inactivity and it disappears from their Messages tab.

After changing the settings, reload the page — the room should appear in the Messages tab again for all joined users.
