However, I was unable to replicate the issue using a test website at my end on a text area field. Would it be possible to perform a complete conflict test in a staging environment to ensure that no other plugin is causing the issue?

Hi,
I recently enabled basic CLoudfare on the website due to increased volume of bots slowing it down. I also had WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache plugin enabled.
I disabled:
Minify CSS
Minify JS
Combine JS
And that got rid of the error. So that is cleared up – thanks!
I remain with a huge amount of PHP Deprecated warnings (thousands) still on The Event Calendar and have now disabled WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache completely.
