Updating Google Review Count

    Hello,

    we’ve been using the plugin for a project for about 3 years. We also display the number of Google reviews in the schema. However, the number shown in the schema never updates. When we set it up, there were 65 reviews on Google; now there are over 100 – but the number has never updated.

    What do we need to do to fix this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    The review count in the schema does not update automatically. To reflect the latest number of Google reviews, you’ll need to re-fetch the reviews in the plugin. Once the reviews are fetched again, the schema will be updated with the current review count.

    Where and how can I trigger the refetch? I thought saving the collection would be enough.

    Hello,

    You can re-fetch the reviews by following the same process you used when you initially fetched them. Simply go to the option where you normally fetch your Google reviews and run the fetch process again.

    This will retrieve the latest reviews and update the review count accordingly.
