• HI,

So I know it is easy to disable loading of plugin CSS and JavaScript files in this plugin, and I understand that I would need to copy the existing css/javascript file contents into my theme css/javascript file.

My question is if that actually saves my site anything in terms of css/javscript in use on the site? Or maybe the question is, does it save enough to risk not using the plugin code (in case of updates later, etc)?

What would happen if I just disabled css without copying it into css files – would the form just follow the theme layout?

    Thanks!

FYI – I tried disabling the css without copying into my general css files. It resulted in a search box in the header (despite settings against that as I don’t normally have it there) and a couple of things on our site were not as well aligned as usual. Colours were all as per our site settings.

I hope you are well today, and thank you for your questions.

That option is only for users who want to copy and load the CSS & JS code manually on the website for performance reasons.

It’s required to use the file code orelse the plugin functionality won’t work properly.

Also, It’s required to copy the updated code every time the plugin updates it.

    Best regards,
