In the last few weeks the AXIA AI chatbot stopped working and returns a Communication Error with the underlying logs stating that there is an issue with the chatbot reaching a quota limit. I have checked my OpenAI account and it is far from reaching its limit (around $5 out of $120). I created a new API key in OpenAI to replace the previous in the Axia settings. No change. I have tried a number of setting changes on AXIA including changing OpenAI model to V5 from 5.2 but no change on the chatbot which responds to a query: thinking……Communication Error within a few seconds. I read similar issue with Gemini and not sure how it was resolved. The AXIA diagnostics returns errors in about 5 processes. I can send full diagnostics.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the detailed report.

Could you please go to AxiaChat AI → Settings → Advanced and click the Run Diagnostics button?

Then copy the generated diagnostic report and paste it here in the forum so I can review it. You can also send it directly to info@axiachat.org if you prefer.

That report should help me identify whether the issue is related to the provider API response, model configuration, server connection, or an internal quota/limit setting.

    Thanks!

Sincere apologies….I double-checked the OpenAI balance and indeed found it to be at zero – having thought my chatgpt subscription covered and a misleading config in OA showing up to $120 and usage of under $5. I added a new balance and all is well. Thanks again.
