• When I search on my site I seems to get too many results. This means the displayued results include all the photos in the gallery rather than just the page which contains the simply gallery (or its title).

I reset my search template to default thinking that I have maybe told wordpress to display all this stuff there – but that changed nothing. So I wonder if there is something in simply gallery which permits every single image in the gallery to be found if the title of the gallery contains the search parameter.

Appreciate if this is a simply gallery matter

I checked the link you provided.

The search page is showing normal post results, not separate gallery images or media attachments. The galleries appear because your theme’s search/archive layout displays the full content of each matching post.

SimpLy Gallery does not modify WordPress search results, search templates, or the way posts are displayed on search pages. This is controlled by your theme and its search/archive settings.

Please check whether your theme provides a Search Results or Archive layout setting where you can change the post display from full content to an excerpt, summary, or title only.

Unfortunately, I cannot investigate the settings and templates of every WordPress theme, even though I would like to help. It is also possible that I have misunderstood your original question. Please feel free to clarify exactly what result you expected and what you would like to change, and I may be able to point you in the right direction.
