Shipment Tracking information

I’m confused about all of this… I tried to follow the “instructions” on this page (https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/how-to-include-shipment-tracking-numbers-in-message-templates/#add-tracking-info-with-placeholders-for-popular-tracking-plugins) but nothing works… Using the WC_Hooks in any position does not expose tracking, and using a text field and putting in any variation of the metdata or shortcode formats does not work.

We are using this plugin for shipment tracking: https://woocommerce.com/products/shipment-tracking/

When you say “Premium” is required, is that for your plugin (provide link) or the Shipment Tracking plugin? I don’t see a premium version for that, we have a subscription to it but I don’t see a Premium version.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Just to clarify, the feature that displays tracking information within the WC hook component currently only supports our Orders Tracking for WooCommerce plugin.

Regarding the WooCommerce Shipment Tracking plugin, we provide several shortcodes that you can use to display shipment tracking information in your emails.

You can find the available shortcodes and configuration instructions in this guide: https://villatheme.com/knowledge-base/how-to-include-shipment-tracking-numbers-in-message-templates/#woocommerce-shipment-tracking-and-advanced-shipment-tracking-for-woocommerce

However, please note that this shortcode feature is only available in the premium version of our email plugin.

Thank you for your answer, I will look into the premium version as I think the shortcode feature is sufficient for what we need.

Hi,

Thank you for your update.

Just to ensure we’re on the same page, if your goal is simply to display tracking information in your emails, you do not need to upgrade both our plugins to the premium version.
- Using Free Versions: You can use the free version of our email plugin together with the free version of our Orders Tracking for WooCommerce plugin, as the tracking information can be displayed in the ‘WC hook’ component.
- Using Shortcodes: If you prefer to use the shipment tracking shortcode instead, you only need to upgrade to the Premium version of our email plugin.
