• I add the google oauth data, press test and it reports:

“Credentials format validation passed. Save your settings to apply them.”

but pressing save and continue, reloads the same page.

trying to click on the top, one by one all the steps, all seems fine, but testing the login page i get

“Could not initiate sign-in. Configuration is missing. Please contact a site administrator.”

Any idea what may be failing? i already disable other plugins (block xml-rpc and api rest, as this also do the same), but didn’t fix it

Notice that navigating away from the plugin settings and returning, all the info i entered is there, so the info looks like it is being saved, just not enabled

Thanks in advance for the help

    Hi @higuita,

I’ve pushed a new version that may resolve this issue. It’ll become live after 24 hours as per the new WordPress security scanning practice.

Could you check after 24 hours, update and test it?

If it fixes the problem, great. If not, it’s likely something specific to your setup, and we’ll need to investigate further.

Just test and it solved the issue, i can now enable google authentication and it works… sort of 😀

now a new problem, in the wp-login.php page, the “continue with google” is failing with “Authentication session expired or invalid. Please try logging in again.”
But in the top right google popup that shows “continue with (my_user)” , it works fine and i can login to the site with google auth

thank you very much for your help and for the plugin!

    Hi @higuita,

Strange, I’m not able to reproduce this on my end, but that can happen with plugins. They work cleanly in some environments, while another setup exposes a different browser, cookie, cache, or server behavior.

I’ve pushed a fix for this flow, and it should become available to try within about 24 hours. Since I can’t reproduce the issue locally, I can’t say with 100% confidence that it will work, but it should address the likely cause.

Thank you for kind words and for testing and reporting this. Please let me know after updating whether it resolves the issue. Also, if you need any custom development help around your setup, feel free to reach out.
