• Litespeed cache is a great plugin.

however recent versions have started to do that annoying and needy thing where it asks why you are deactivating it every time you deactivate it.

For a caching plugin it gets deactivated a lot as sometimes I need to see the site without caching and this just adds an extra annoying step.

Would be 5 stars if it didn’t do that!

Understandable! Just a tip, in case you didn’t know, in the plugin under Toolbox > Debug, there’s a View Site Before Cache button that might do what you want it to do without having to deactivate the plugin.

    Thanks for the review!

No worries, like I said functionally the plugin is great but there are times when you just need to turn it off for a while, the setting you mention is helpful but not the same as turning it off

Very often those times are when you are troubleshooting an issue and it is frustrating to have a barrier put in the way. Despite being very annoyed by those popups (in all plugins) and dubious of their usefulness, I don’t mind answering those feedback questions once or twice especially to support a free plugin. But every time becomes annoying and frustrating

That is a good point. We improved it in https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/commit/60addf401a444e67c37a24aa0b779b91ffa9f899 and will be included in v7.9 release. Thanks for your feedback.

Nice, that looks much less intrusive!
