Hi, I’m using the latest version of PublishPress Blocks (3.8.2) and the columns are not displaying correctly on the frontend — they’re not appearing side by side.

After debugging, it seems the wp-block-advgb-columns class is missing from the columns block wrapper div. This appears to be a known bug as many users have reported the same issue, but it still hasn’t been fixed in the latest version.

Could you please prioritize this fix? Thank you.

Hi @faheemahmed The latest version is
    3.7.3
, can you confirm again if that’s what’s on your site? My assumption is you may have 3.7.2 on your website.

Sorry, yes, I have version 3.7.3 installed, and the same issue happened on both versions 3.7.2 and 3.7.3. As I mentioned during debugging, I found that the wp-block-advgb-columns class is missing. When can we expect this issue to be fixed?

    Hi @faheemahmed ,

Could you let us know which part of your site is using the Columns block but isn’t displaying the columns side by side?

I tested it with version 3.7.3, and the columns are displaying correctly on my end:

I attached the URL of the page in my first comment. Please review the page; it is in the first hero section where you can see I used PublishPress Columns.

If so, we’d first need to understand how you’re using the blocks in the post editor before we can determine the cause of the issue, especially since we haven’t been able to reproduce it on a fresh test site.

Unfortunately, requesting login credentials isn’t allowed under the WordPress.org Forum Guidelines. If you’d like us to investigate this further, I recommend upgrading to the Pro version, where we can provide more dedicated troubleshooting and support.

For me, I am using buttons inside columns inside accordions.

I also use Spectra plugin to provide features that PublishPressBlocks does not or which I prefer in terms of options and functions but do not mix the two very often. The Attempt Recovery worked on Accordions and Buttons not inside columns such as the widget area or outside any other function.

You can see the affect of the problem with buttons on https://blackheathfencing.org.uk/ home page in the Junior Fencing and Learn to Fence accordions.

In 3.7.3 side by side columns seem to be working but in Edit mode cannot edit anymore and cannot do Block Recovery as is being requested.

    Hi @andy60103,

Thank you for letting us know the details.
Can you also provide the view from Edit mode as follows? https://prnt.sc/XE4dfXczxCsT
I need to know how the columns are used on your site under those accordions.

Sorry, didnt see your note about starting a new thread until it was too late.
We had to get the site updated quickly as the information had become way out of date so I just deleted the columns in List view and rebuilt them. Must have had some corruption while the upgrade was in progress, change of libraries etc.

    Hi @andy60103 ,

No worries at all. How are things looking now? Is everything working the way you expected?
