We are getting this issue with 6.5.2:

[error] 12845#12845: *351 FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function ShortPixel\External\Offload\getmypid() in /www/WEBSITEDIR/public/releases/20260617151553/public/wp-content/plugins/shortpixel-image-optimiser/class/external/offload/wp-offload-media.php:48

getmypid() is a native PHP function but it’s looking for it inside “ShortPixel\External\Offload\”

Thanks for reporting this @daviddarke.

We are already aware of this, and it means that your host is blocking the standard PHP function getmypid() (we didn’t expect hosts to block this). Version 6.5.3 will contain a fix for this, and you can use this dev version until we release it publicly:
