Backup Files Not Deleting

    I have the CRON job set using custom settings with a Retention of 5.
    The cron job ran twice and the backup was completed but nothing was deleted and now there are 10 backup sets there.

    Even if I delete one from the backup history page it reappears.
    Need to be able to auto delete these backups.

    Hello,

    This is just to update any one who is facing issue with Deletion of a backup, this issue was happening because of a Clear File Name plugin, which updates the sanitize_file_name hook and it was changing the name of the file to be deleted, making the new file name to be unavailable on the disk hence could not be deleted.
    We will be releasing a fix in v1.5.4.
