Does Querya Search include custom post types for WordPress?

Hi, thanks for the great question!

Short answer: right now Queryra indexes posts, pages, and WooCommerce products. Custom Post Types (e.g. portfolios, events, listings) are not included yet — they can’t be selected in the plugin settings in the current version.

What IS already indexed on the supported types, for completeness:

    • full post content, including content built with page builders (Elementor, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Oxygen 4.x and 6.0),
    • custom fields from ACF (Free + Pro) and Meta Box — text, textarea, WYSIWYG, repeaters, groups,
    • all custom taxonomies (categories, tags, brands, and any taxonomy your site registers),
    • for products: SKU, price, stock, attributes, short description.

Custom Post Type support is on the roadmap — the sync engine underneath is already generic (that’s why custom taxonomies and custom fields work), so it’s mainly a matter of exposing CPTs in the settings UI. I’ll post an update in this thread when it ships, so if you subscribe to the thread you’ll get notified.

Thanks for raising this — requests like yours directly move features up the priority list!

Thank you for writing back so quickly. I guess meant custom fields from ACF. But it did not seem to index those, it only did posts and pages. I am using the free trial. (What is the cost after the free trial, by the way?)

    Thank you, Sam Drew

Following up on your ACF question (and the pricing one) here, so everything stays in one place.

ACF fields ARE indexed — text-type fields: text, textarea, WYSIWYG, email, including values inside repeaters and groups. They’re captured at sync time, not live — which points to the most likely causes when they seem missing:

    1. Fields were added or filled in after your initial import. The indexed copy is older than your fields. Fix: run Import All again (plugin → Records tab), or simply update a post — saving re-syncs it automatically. This solves it in most cases.
    2. The fields live on a Custom Post Type — as discussed above, CPTs aren’t synced in the current version, so their ACF fields won’t be either.
    3. Some field types are intentionally skipped to keep the search index clean: numbers, dates, yes/no, short select values, images/files/links. Text-bearing fields are what gets indexed.
    4. ACF options pages (global fields) aren’t included — only fields attached to a specific post.

Quick way to verify after re-importing: search for a phrase that exists only in an ACF field — or open the record in your Queryra Dashboard → Records and check whether the ACF text shows in the description.

If it still doesn’t show after a re-import, reply with the field type and the post type it’s attached to and I’ll dig in. (For developers: there’s a queryra_indexable_meta_content filter to force-include any custom content.)

Pricing: the free trial runs 14 days — and your account is on Genesis Club, so you already have the doubled limit (200 records, and 30 days). Have a look at the Clubs section in your dashboard (https://queryra.com/dashboard/club): the Partner Program is usually the best fit — full Pro, free, in exchange for a small “Powered by Queryra” badge and one promo activity a month.
