    Hi @pepe-gonzales ,

    What exactly does a Commercial invoice need? What makes it “Commercial”? My short research suggests to me that there is no standard format.

    Hi Darren, thank you very much for your information.
    An official “commercial invoice” is required to export a shipment. As you describe on your website, for example, for shipments to Amazon. This enables customs clearance in the destination country. If it is not included, customs clearance will be delayed or may even be rejected. It must be labeled as a “commercial invoice.”
    It must contain precise details for customs. For example, the country of origin for each item, the tariff code for each item, the weight of each item, the total net weight of the shipment, a description of the material for each item, a detailed description of the item, and more.
    We’ve included this information for each item in the WooCommerce attributes. However, the attributes do not appear on the invoice. I also couldn’t find anything for the total calculations: i.e., weight per item × quantity = weight per line item. Add all weights to get the total weight.
    I understand your concept and will try to create this using a custom template. We’ll probably have to purchase the Professional version anyway, since we also need to support WPML. It offers a lot more features. Thanks anyway. If I have any questions, I’ll get back to you. Thank you very much.

    @pepe-gonzales,

    WPML compatibility will definitely require the Professional extension.

    If you upgrade, you get access to our priority support channel – support@wpovernight.com – so see you there. 🙂
