Error: Email unable to be sent

    Hi there

    Thanks for the plugin, looks like it will do what we need. However, having installed it and set it up, I can’t make the emails send – either with GDPR turned on or turned off, we get “Error: Email unable to be sent” Normally WP can send emails fine and we can receive them.

    We also have an SMTP account that can be used if necessary? I see this problem has cropped up occasionally on here, but can’t see how the user fixed it in the end…

    Update – I have sorted it by using SMTP email rather than the built in WP PHP email. Thanks.

    One more question though – after entering name and email address, the email capture page just reloads, and looks a bit like it hasn’t worked. I see questions on here relating to a page displayed after the email address is captured, but I don’t have that option in my dashboard (latest version of plugin). Just subscription page URL (where the email address is captured, which reloads after an email address is entered) and Confirmation Page URL (the page with a download link where the user is taken after clicking the confirmation link in his or her email).

    Hi There,

    Sorry for the delay in responding. Plugin is largely in a “security updates” for now.

    I am working on fixing that bug on the site. It’s a very old theme and I’m about half way through transferring to a more modern theme, so should be fixed.

    Glad you were able to get everything sorted.
