    Hi,

I’m a plugin developer (https://wordpress.org/plugins/majestic-before-after-image/) and having issues with my plugin assets (https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/majestic-before-after-image/#assets). I’ve uploaded new screenshots 16 hours ago, but they are still not displaying on the plugin page. The new banner image is showing (that took about 10 minutes to update, which is normal), but the screenshots are not. The ones showing on the plugin page are old ones still.

I’ve been a plugin developer since 2015, so I’ve done this many times, and this is the first time I’ve had this issue. I double checked the readme descriptions, double checked the image size and dimensions, removed the new screenshots (they old ones did disappear from the plugin page), then added the new ones again, but the old ones displayed again instead of the new ones.

I’m assuming either 1. This is a WordPress.org CDN caching issue? 2. This is related to the new “WordPress.org currently delays plugin updates by 24 hours” rule.

If anyone could provide any information on what might be happening, I would appreciate that.

    Thank you,
    Scott

The 24 hour rule is probably the culprit. You can ask in the #pluginreview channel on Slack.

    Hi @sterndata,

Thanks for the reply, I will do that!

I should also have mention in case this is related to the 24 hour rule, the new screenshot descriptions are showing with the old images. So if this is by design, then this part is a bug. I’ll mention this as well on Slack.

    Best,
    Scott
