• Hello
This is regarding the lock option in the package settings.
Since version 3.3.25, pressing the password generation button in the lock option no longer displays the form.
When this happens, the system becomes unresponsive, and the only solution is to refresh the page.
My environment is a Microsoft Surface Pro 11, Windows 11, and the browser is Chrome.
I’m forced to continue using version 3.3.24.
    Is there a solution?
    Thank you

    Hello @orikawa,

Hope you are well. And sorry for the inconvenience. The password generation is working properly in our testing site. Please also kindly check the attached screenshots; the button is working,

I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. You can disable one by one other plugins for testing if there are any conflicts. You may also switch the theme to another for checking. Please kindly check.

    Thank you.

    Hello
    Thank you for your reply.
I’ve tried disabling plugins that I’ve installed within the last year, but the situation hasn’t changed.
What’s strange is that even with all plugins enabled and using the current theme, the password generation form opens without any problems when using version 3.3.24.
I haven’t experienced any issues using version 3.3.24 so far, but I hope this is helpful in some way.
    Thank you very much.

Are you seeing any errors coming in the browser console when pressing button? Please kindly let me know.

    Hello
    Thank you for your reply.
Even when I press the password generation button […], no message appears in the browser (Chrome) console.
When this happens, I can’t click any icons, and the only way to recover is to reload the page.
It seems that the password generation form is displayed in an invisible way, and the input operation is being taken over by that.
By the way, my PC (Surface Pro 11) has a Snapdragon CPU.
I hope this is helpful in some way.
    Thank you very much.

It can be in conflict with any of your existing plugins. If you do not have many plugins, it may take 5-10 minutes to check and disable other plugins to see if there are any conflicts with your plugins or active theme. Please kindly check.

    Thank you.

    Hello
I tried disabling all plugins except DLM.
When I entered the download file editing screen, it looked like the block editor had launched.
At the bottom of this screen, a metabox area appeared, and I tried to generate a password after selecting the lock option in the package settings, but the form still didn’t appear, and the situation remained the same as before.
Incidentally, I don’t use the block editor; I use the classic editor.
I hope this is helpful in some way.
    Thank you.

I have checked the issue when gutenberg block editor enabled and I have also forwarded it to our team for the issue. However, for the Classic Editor, it is working as expected. Please kindly check and let me know.

    Thank you

    Hello
In version 3.3.24, which works correctly, the background of the password generation dialog is grayed out when it opens. However, in later versions, this graying-out behavior does not occur, and the screen appears to freeze.
    Does this offer any clues?
    Thank you.

    Hello.
Thank you for your sincere response to my issue.
Since there don’t seem to be any similar reports before, I understand that it’s likely an issue with my environment.
Currently, I’m not experiencing any particular problems using the old version, so I would appreciate it if you could consider it when you have time.
    Thank you very much.

No, it is appearing in our testing site too for the Gutenberg editor; you can switch to the classic editor where it is working properly for the latest version. Please kindly check.

    Thank you

    Hello.
Just to clarify, I only use the classic editor.
When the classic editor is available, all functions except password generation seem to work.
The problem is that some kind of inconsistency seems to occur when displaying the password generation window.
Based on my testing so far, I don’t think a plugin is the main cause.
Also, it doesn’t seem to depend on the type of editor.
Since the bug has been reproducible in all versions since ver3.3.24, I think there might have been some change. What do you think?
    Thank you.
