Flashing admin screens in WP 7

    Hi,

    With WP 7 there are several reservation admin screens that load slower then with the previous WP 6x versions. As a result, it shows a flashing unstyled menu at the top. I don’t see this on websites that are on the same server but still use WP 6x. Can you have a look at it please?

    Hi JP,

    This seems to be related to the built-in help pane. It looks like it might be that the styling for that pane isn’t loaded immediately, so it momentarily shows the content unstyled before the correct CSS file is enqueued. We’ll have a look at the order/priority for the enqueuing and see if we can spot exactly where/why this is happening. If there is a way to update this order/priority to stop the behaviour from happening, we’ll include that change in one of our next updates.

    (Just to be clear, this is not related to the additional help content from the external AI Admin Assistance plugin that you discussed in another thread. This is related to the plugin’s own built-in help pane.)

    Thanks for the reply. Not a major issue, just wanted to let you know because I noticed the difference between WP6x and WP7.
