I’m testing out Filter Everything before I buy on a WooCommerce Divi shop page, but I keep running into an error that says, “The free version allows up to 3 filter sets per post type. Upgrade to PRO to display more filter sets.” But I only have one Filter Set setup and that Filter Set only has one section asking for bands( All, Brand 1, Brand 2). I’m confused on why it says I have more than 3 filter sets when I don’t. Can someone please help me? Please let me know if you need more info on the site. Thank you.

    Hi @sloriot

Please send us the following screenshots so that we can check the issue:
    https://prnt.sc/Tjm6wtQSkMTA
    https://prnt.sc/C4SnN6lo_hel

If the message is still displayed, please try completely deleting the plugin from the WordPress admin dashboard, clean all of the cache on all levels and then install a clean version of it. After that, test it once more.

    Best Regards,
    Victor

    Hi Victor,

Here are the screenshots you requested:

I’ll try deleting the plugin and clean the cache to see if a free install will work.

    Thank you for the reply,

    Hi @sloriot

We have checked this on our end, and indeed, such a message is displayed when no filter set is applied to the required page. This is a minor messaging bug. Instead, it should display a message indicating that you need to apply a filter set to the page. The current message should only be shown when there are more than three filter sets available.

We will add this issue to our development list and fix it in a future update to avoid any confusion.

As for Divi itself, we tested it on our end, and it is working correctly after applying the filters to the page and using Divi templates:

    Filter placement:
    https://prnt.sc/vZoDZp_Mh1o7

    Filter set configuration:
    https://prnt.sc/giLR57xBFgBi

    Frontend result:
    https://prnt.sc/y5fA3vmE20bK

You could try applying a few filter sets to the same shop page. In some cases, it is also necessary to select Pages → [Name of the Shop Page] in the “Where to Filter” section.

However, please note that products displayed via Divi cannot be filtered in the free version because Divi uses custom queries. To filter products displayed through Divi modules and custom queries, the Pro version is required.

    Hi Victor,

Thank you for replying back. In my “What to filter?” section, I only have the option of “No list of products found on this page.” as shown in the second screenshot of my previous reply. Is this because I’m using the free version? Will i have the option shown and be able to filter products if I purchase the Pro version? I would like to test out Filter Everything with my site first if possible as I tried another paid filter plugin that kept causing the wrong prices to show up in the shop when first loading.

    Thank you,
    Sam

@sloriot What type of Divi widget are you using to display the products on the shop page? It is possible that the widget you are using does not rely on the default WP_Query at all. Can you send the link to the shop page, so that we can check it?

Another possibility is that you have an object cache enabled on the site, which may be caching queries across pages. In such cases, the plugin may not be able to detect the cached query correctly. If that is the case, you would need to disable object caching at least on the filtered pages.

For testing purposes, we recommend disabling all types of caching, including CDN caching, object caching, page caching, and any permalink manager plugins, if you are using any. This should only be done temporarily during testing.

If the queries start showing after disabling these components, then the issue is likely related to the caching layer or permalink configuration. Otherwise, it may indicate that the page does not use the standard WordPress WP_Query to display products and instead relies on a custom method.

    Hi Victor,

Here is the shop page: https://smartcells.build.cazbah.us/shop/
I have tried to disable caching as suggested and I now see the grayed option for Divi Builder for Pro in the What to Filter field.

@sloriot Now it can correctly find the post list on that page. However, this shop page built with the product grid, and requires the Pro version in order to be filtered, as it uses custom query.

The free version only works with the default main query and with the default “Query Loop” block from Gutenberg, such as the one used in the WordPress 2025 FSE theme.

    Hi Victor,

I have bought the Pro version and, but now it says, “no one filter set is related to this page. You can configure it in the Filter Set -> “Where to filter?” field.” when it is configured to go to the shop. Can you please help me?
