• GSpeech came with such promise I was excited to use it but without an UNLIMITED level to pay for, I was left having to deactivate soon after becoming familiar due to getting a notice I’d exceeded the limit—so my guests, members and partners get a notice “Audio limit has been exceeded!” not the kind of professional look we’d like to have. Thankfully we never removed GPTranslate so it was still able to be access by the many languages we serve in our ministry.

    Just to clarify, the free plan includes 50,000 characters per month, which is shown on our pricing page. If GSpeech is enabled automatically across many posts or pages, the limit can be reached faster because real audio files are generated from your content. Please note that this is a monthly limit, so audio generation continues again when your monthly quota resets. It is not a permanent limitation.

    However, you are absolutely right about one thing – showing an “Audio limit has been exceeded” message to website visitors is not the experience we want either. We are already improving this behavior so such notifications are shown only to website administrators, and do not affect the professional appearance of your website.
