People are using the clients give app to create user accounts without making a donation. I would like to disable this all together as it’s entirely unnecessary. I am sure that it’s obvious but I can’t figure out how to disable this.
The only way WP user accounts are created is if the donation fails which could be an error message, a declined payment, or donor/card spam as some examples. Otherwise, a WordPress user account is automatically created with the donation using the current visual builder donation forms and it cannot be disabled.
If it is not spam, then the next thing to check is the form logs to see if a common error is occuring. If it is spam, I have some recommendations for that, so let me know.
To check for errors:
Every time a donation is made on your site – or attempted, GiveWP creates a new entry in the logs section that provides additional information on what is happening. The error logs are accessed by going to GiveWP > Tools > Logs. You’re looking for entries for the date/time of the donation attempts in question that describe some sort of error (not the blue “Info” log). When you find one, click on the “eyeball” icon on the right of the log to expand it to view the contents. After that, copy/paste the complete log into your next reply. (Note: a screenshot will not show us enough information.

2 Things, 1) the LOOM link does not work. 2) I see that there is an something in the settings for when people opt in to register when they make a donation.
I do not want anyone to be able to register for the website when they make a donation or if an error occurs. How do I disable this?
I didn’t have any problem viewing the the Loom video. I tested it in a private browser to make sure it wasn’t expired or required logging in. It doesn’t have any sound if that is what you meant?

I got a 404 error clicking on your link but I don’t really need the video. There is no instance that we want users added to our database, for any reason. I take it that we do not have the option to turn this off so we will look for another option to what is, otherwise, an excellent free plugin. Thank you anyway!
