Logout to 404 instead of login screen

On the latest update, logging out does not take me to the login screen anymore, but to a 404.

@nitrospectide thank you for reporting this. However, there were no changes made to logout-related modules in ASE’s latest release v8.8.2.
Do you have the following modules enabled/configured in ASE?
- Change Login URL
- Redirect After Logout
If so, how are they currenctly configured?
Please go to the “Tools >> Site Health >> Info” page in wp-admin, and copy your WP environment info in your next reply, so we have more context as to what could be causing the issue you see on logout.
Change Login URL is enabled. Redirect after logout is not enabled.
I get the 404 when the logout drops me here: /mylogin?loggedout=true&wp_lang=en_us
This is happening across multiple WordPress installations.

cloud_connect: No@nitrospectide thank you for sharing further details. /mylogin?loggedout=true&wp_lang=en_us does not look like the format that Change Login URL produce for the login page. It should look something like /wp-login.php?mylogin&redirect=false (notice that there is wp-login.php).
It appears that you have another plugin or a code snippet that is modifying the login URL? Advanced Access Manager?
Another possibility is that you’ve created a custom login page at /mylogin and somehow have set that as the default login URL via a plugin or a code snippet. If that is the case, consider trying to add ‘mylogin’ to the “Allow login from:” section in the Change Login URL module.
If that does not work, one last thing to consider is simply disabling Change Login URL module, and use whatever mechanism you currently have to set the login URL at /mylogin. It’s usually not a good idea to have two mechanisms controlling the login URL.
Your guess turned out to be correct. I am running AAM as well. Since this is relatively new behavior, I guess they must have changed something.
I looked at their admin for Logout Redirect, and it’s already on “WordPress default behavior,” but that’s what causes the issue. What is your recommendation for optimal ASE compatibility?
If you’re using both AAM’s custom login URL and logout redirect features and have disabled ASE’s Change Login URL and Logout Redirect modules, and you’re still seeing the redirect to 404 issue, I suggest trying to report it to AAM’s support forum first. In this scenario, ASE should not be doing anything that is interfering with AAM’s processes around login and logout.
