Adding a Parent/Child directory

    Ok apparently I didnt set my wordpress up with a twentyten Parent & child theme & just have a “Twentyten” theme.

    Can I just rename the current “twentyten” theme to “Twentyten-child” & just re-download twentyten again?

    Your current theme will not be a child theme. It’s a standalone theme. Try renaming the theme to something like “My Twenty Ten” and name the folder to “my-twentyten”.
