Interesting – looks ideal to use with my video site at http://www.felixstowenews.tv but all I get is the grey icons when pasting in the original code from the plug in page, which changes to a small and narrow outline immediately I paste in the code of the Youtube video I want to show. I’ve also tried it on another istance of the same installation (latest WP + Cover WP theme) with the same result.

Any thoughts?

I had the same problem with my site, then I realized that youtube is now producing their links in a format different than YouTube Simple Gallery is designed for.

Reference: http://testofmanhood.com/video-gallery

I grabbed the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0mZJcVfmaM but I just got a grayed out link.

I then removed the “watch?” and changed the “=” after the v into a “/” to create: http://www.youtube.com/v/o0mZJcVfmaM

The plugin then worked properly.
