I have tested out my form to see if email sending works. I set it up so that I get emails to two addresses, one that forwards to the other one, just in case. I waited overnight and still haven’t seen anything in my inbox.

    Hey @tiktikkobold,

Sorry to hear the emails aren’t coming through. That’s frustrating, especially after setting things up carefully and waiting overnight to check.

The good news is this is almost always an email delivery issue rather than something wrong with your form setup. WordPress relies on your hosting server to send mail, and a lot of hosts have restrictions that cause emails to silently fail or land in spam.

The fix we’d recommend is installing our free WP Mail SMTP plugin — it routes your emails through a proper mail service (like Gmail, Outlook, or others) instead of your host’s default mail function, and it makes a huge difference in reliability: https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-fix-wordpress-not-sending-email/

A few quick things worth checking in the meantime:

    1. Make sure both recipient addresses are set up correctly under your form’s notification settings in WPForms → Settings → Notifications
    2. Check the spam/junk folders on both inboxes, including the forwarded address
    3. If you have access to your host’s mail logs, it’s worth checking whether the emails are being sent but rejected on the other end

If you run through those and still can’t get it working, feel free to reply here with a bit more detail about your hosting setup and we’ll help narrow it down further.

    Thanks!

    Hi @tiktikkobold ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
