Hi there @athannor ,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it can be when core filtering suddenly stops working.
To narrow it down, perform the following quick checks:
- Temporarily switch to the default WooCommerce theme: Storefront. Does the issue persist?
- Disable all plugins except WooCommerce then test, does the issue still persist?
Here is a quick guide on how to conduct a conflict test (after taking a backup) to identify the cause: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Jim
Hi there!
\I understand the issue you are experiencing with the shop product category filter after updating to version 10.7.0.
To assist you further, could you please share more details about the issue? Specifically, what exactly happens when you select a category?
It would also be helpful if you could share:
- Your site URL
- A copy of your System Status Report
You can find the System Status Report via:
WooCommerce → Status → System Status.
Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.
Dear both,
I found the culprit in my theme: a script that wasn’t excluded from Autoptimize. This works with the Storefront theme.
Thanks for your help and quick answer.
Best regards
Hi @athannor , that’s awesome. Glad you sorted out the issue.
Cheers,
Jim
