Bug with Last Version Admin Column (7.0.16)

    Hello,
    Today I discovered that the display of my custom fields (acf) in my admin panel—specifically the date field—was glitching, as all dates were showing August 23, 1970… I checked my local version of the site, where the Admin Columns plugin was still on version 4.xx; I didn’t have this issue there, and the settings were identical to those on my live site. I updated the plugin on my local site, and the date bug appeared just like it did on the live site.

    Thanks for your message. Since version 7, the date parsing is a bit more strict. In the version 4 we tried to parse every string to a valid date. Since ACF uses a uncommon format for their dates (Ymd) we also had a fallback for that format as wel.

    In version 7, you’ll need to tell the plugin what format is used as storage in the ‘Stored Date Format’ setting. There is also an ‘Auto detect’ option that should work for the ACF date format, so changing that setting to that value should bring back the correct dates.
