    Hi,

since the newest version translations are missing and a logical understanding should be improved:

    Your email settings

Review your email address and choose whether you can receive emails from this site.

should be translated to German (du) not (sie):

    Deine E-Mail-Einstellungen

Überprüfe deine E-Mail-Adresse und wähle aus, ob du E-Mails von dieser Website erhalten möchtest.

    and this

    Email subscription status *

This controls whether you receive emails overall. Your list choices below control which public lists you receive.

    E-Mail-Abonnementstatus *

Dadurch wird kontrolliert, ob du E-Mails erhältst. Deine Listenauswahl unten steuert, in welche öffentlichen Listen du eingetragen bist.

Furthermore the wording in the selectbox “Eingetragen” is quite ok. It shows where you are subscribed to (shows the list) and you can change that.

But the wording “Ausgetragen” ist absolutely terrible. It means “unsubscribed” so it stands for the PAST which doesn´t make sense, as it seems if you select this option and hit “save” it will unsubscribe you from all lists. It would be more logical to name it into “unsubscribe from all lists” so in German “Aus allen Listen austragen”.

At the moment our users don´t understand the wording and the logic. With this changes it would make much more sense! Or put a stand-alone button for unsubscribing from all lists.

Sorry I am not willing to register in your translation environment. WordPress has one, I would use that one but I hope u can implement these changes yourself.

    Regards

    Hello there @artankrasniqi1988 ,

Thanks for sharing this feedback and for explaining the issue so clearly.

I can see how the current German wording could be confusing for your users, especially the use of “Ausgetragen” in the dropdown. Since that can sound like something that has already happened, I agree that wording such as “Aus allen Listen austragen” would make the action clearer.

We’ll pass this feedback along so it can be reviewed and considered for a wider translation or wording update in MailPoet.

In the meantime, you can use a translation plugin such as Loco Translate to adjust these strings directly on your own site while we look into this further: Loco Translate

That would let you update the wording to something clearer for your audience, such as:

    Deine E Mail Einstellungen

Überprüfe deine E Mail Adresse und wähle aus, ob du E Mails von dieser Website erhalten möchtest.

    Aus allen Listen austragen

Thanks again for taking the time to send the suggested wording. This kind of context is very helpful when reviewing translations and user facing text.
