    Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Elementor editor. The editor keeps loading indefinitely and does not open properly.

After troubleshooting, the issue seems to be related to the Post Grid widget from the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin. When this widget is used or active on the page, the Elementor editor gets stuck on the loading screen.

I have tried to investigate the exact cause, but I haven’t been able to identify it yet. However, the problem appears to be specifically connected to this widget.

Could you please help me find out what is causing this and how it can be fixed?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there @burodebom

Greetings! I am truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

The “Elementor getting stuck on the loading screen” issue typically happens when a website runs out of available memory. Because third-party plugins like Essential Addons require a bit more memory to load their widgets compared to default Elementor elements, they can easily push a low-limit site over the edge.

Could you please check your current memory limit? You can verify this by navigating to wp-admin ➔ Elementor ➔ System Info (you can also refer to this screenshot for guidance).

If your memory limit is low, you will need to increase it by modifying your wp-config.php file, which is located in your root WordPress directory. To do this, simply add the following line of code right above the line that says /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */:

    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');

For a detailed step-by-step guide on how to safely edit this file, you can check out this troubleshooting blog post.

If increasing the memory limit doesn’t resolve the issue, try temporarily deactivating any Essential Addons elements you aren’t actively using, especially the Dynamic Elements, to see if that clears up the conflict.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Thank you!

    Hi there @burodebom,

Just checking in to see if you’re still experiencing this issue.

As suggested earlier, please try increasing the WordPress memory limit and let us know the result. If the issue persists after that, please share the following details so we can investigate further:

    • Current Elementor version
    • Current Essential Addons version
    • A screenshot of Elementor → System Info
    • Any browser console errors that appear when the editor gets stuck loading

Since we haven’t heard back from you for a while, I’ll mark this topic as resolved for now. If the issue still exists, feel free to reply here with the requested information, and we’ll be happy to continue investigating.

    Thank you!
