    Hi,

Previously had no issues with this plugin and it worked great for creating and editing recurring events where I manage a public space and things can change quickly.

Just completed the plugin update and now no edits are being published to the site. I am getting an “invalid event” flag on the list page, but no clear way to fix it when I go to edit the event. The only thing I tried to change was the end recurring date and now the event is completely gone from the website.

Also received a “fatal error” email from wordpress about the plugin while I was posting this. Apparently this is flagged with WP.

Definite bug with the update – fix would be welcome!

  • New events set as “private” and can not published.

It’s not a private event. As mentioned, it was published and on the website previously. The only edit was to the end date and now I’m getting fatal error.

That is what I got:  – Privat – Ungültige Veranstaltung = Private – Invalid Event

Gotcha – yes, I get the same error message even though the status is “Published” and update done to reflect on the site.

Yep, updated to 3.7.11 and now no one can publish events.

After adding an event, it shows:
“Event added. It will now show on the calendar. No link was generated for this event. There may be an unknown error.”

And in the events list, it shows like this:
“Test event – Private – Invalid Event”

Hopefully we’ll get that fixed soon…

Just chiming in that we’re encountering this issue as well.

The 3.7.11 version is not allowing adding of events. It says that the event was added but, it does not appear on the calendar and when going back into the list it shows – private event invalid!

I restored back 3.7.10 and no such problem exists!

    Thank you!

I am receiving the same error. All was working before this recent update to the plugin.

For everyone trying to get this working, until Joe can update the plugin, please install the WP Rollback plugin. This will allow you to roll back to the previous version of the plugin, and everything will work as before.

    I hope this helps everyone.

My apologies; it was a stupid error, and I missed it. It’s literally a missing space. Getting it fixed shortly.

I updated to the revised version and it seems to work fine. Thanks!

    Works perfect -thx.

Update works perfect. Thank you so much.
