    Hi Joe,

it’s me again with another issue I came across while implementing my “My Calendar-base setup”:

In the event single-view-template I want to display a list of all dates of a recurring event. I tried to do this using the {recurring}-template-tag, but found out the following:

    • The tag works fine with a “clean” – i. e. unmodified – recurring pattern.
    • If instances / dates of the recurring-pattern have been modified or added manually the tag-output is empty.
    • When I add an event starting e. g. on June 29 and add a recurring pattern “of “daily / Repeat Until July 3“, the last instance is set to July 2, also appearing in the {recurring}-tag.output. I would have expected to be July 3 as the last occurence.

I don’t know if this is intentional for some reason, and I’m sure I’ll find a workaround. But I wanted to let you know anyway.

    Best Regards,
    Oliver

I’ll check this out; the recurring template tag *should* return all event instances. I can tell immediately looking at it that it won’t work if a non-recurring event has additional instances added, which I’ll fix; but a recurring pattern that has additional or modified instances should be working.

Re: the last instance. When I originally wrote this, I set up so that “Until date” meant “until, but not including”. Now, years later, I do strongly think I should have set it up as meaning “until, and including”…but changing that is kind of tricky, as it will change a behavior that’s been in place for some time.

I’m inclined to make that change, but it won’t be in a minor release, so I can’t really say *when*, exactly.

    Hi!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m not 100% sure anymore of I set up a recurring pattern and then modified some instances or just deleted some and added some new ones. 🤔 If it helps I‘ll be happy to test again.

And regarding the „last date“ issue it might be a quickfix to just add a short (but visible) note for newbies like me that the last date isn‘t included.

Overall I‘d really like to say I enjoy working with My Calendar / My Tickets for its transparent and customizable structure and workflows. Thank You for these great plugins!

    Oliver
