is this plugin inserting og:type: article on homepage???

    Hi there,

    Is this plugin automatically inserting the og:type: article on homepage?
    I cannot figure out where that comes from …. I have no other SEO plugins or such
    Thanks!

    Yes, that’s coming from SEO Engine, specifically the Social Networks module. We hardcode og:type to “article” for any single post or page, and if your homepage is a static page in WordPress’s reading settings, it gets caught in that branch. That’s our bug, not yours. We’ll ship a fix that uses “website” on the front page (and “article” only on real posts). Sorry for the noise! 😅 As a workaround until then, you can turn off the Social Networks toggle in the SEO Engine dashboard if the wrong tag is causing issues.
