Hi there,
Thank you for reporting this.
We tested the Basic Gallery widget and the custom gap setting on our side in a clean environment, including a fresh install with Elementor only, and we weren’t able to reproduce the behavior. The value persists normally after updating and refreshing the editor. At this time, we also don’t see any related bug reports for v3.35 that match this specific issue.
Because of that, this is most likely caused by a conflict rather than a core Elementor issue. In many cases, this kind of behavior can happen when a third-party plugin, theme optimization feature, or custom script is overriding saved widget settings or injecting styles after save.
To help narrow it down, you can try switching temporarily to a basic theme like Hello Elementor and disable all other plugins except Elementor. Then check if the gap setting still resets. If it works normally, re-enable your plugins one by one until the source of the conflict is identified.
If possible, sharing a short screen recording or screenshots of the behavior would also help us better understand what’s happening in your setup.
Additionally, please ensure that your Elementor and Elementor pro are both updated to the latest version. We always recommend to update to the latest one as not only would you be able to use the new and enhanced features, but also new versions fixes bugs that were present on the older ones.
Let us know if there are any further questions about this.
Best regards,
