Same issue here. Downgrading fixed it.
Hi @hatthabasel ,
Thanks for reaching out with this issue.
We recently updated to the bundled PDF.js rendering library to v2.16.105 with our latest version.
The first thing is to ensure you have updated your PDF Embedder to the latest version. After that, you also need to exclude PDF Embedder assets from caching, as shown in our guide here: Using Caching or Minifying Plugins.
You should the clear your cache and confirm if the issue is now resolved.
Please let me know how it goes!
Hi @hatthabasel ,
We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
Thanks!
Hi @mwangejack
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I have cleared the cache and excluded the page from caching, but the issue still remains. By the way I do not use minifying in WP-Rocket.
I am using now version 5.0.1, the latest version.
What can I do else?
@sacphdvirtual If you go to this page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/pdf-embedder/advanced/ (at the bottom) and install a previous version it will fix the issue. I don’t know why they had to break a great plugin but the updated versions don’t work correctly.
Now I went back to version 4.9.3, this version still runs stable. But the problem in version 5.0.1 still persists. This means this task in not yet resolved.
It looks like the plugin dev @mwangejack assumes this issue is resolved but it clearly isn’t.
For me, the error persists even in newer versions, and even disabling the cache plugin continues.
I tried installing older versions and the error persists as well.
I try use native editor Gutemberg
