Deprecation Warning in hooks.php

Hello Cloudflare team,

After the latest update of the Cloudflare WordPress plugin, my PHP logs started showing the following deprecation warning repeatedly:

[14-May-2026 07:09:34 UTC] PHP Deprecated: preg_match(): Passing null to parameter #2 ($subject) of type string is deprecated in wp-content/plugins/cloudflare/src/WordPress/Hooks.php on line 558

It seems that the plugin is passing null as the second argument to preg_match(), which triggers a deprecation warning on recent PHP versions.

Could you please check whether this is a known issue and fix it in an upcoming release?

Environment:

• WordPress version: 6.9.4
• Cloudflare plugin version: 4.14.3
• PHP version: 8.4.16 

The website still appears to work, but the warning is filling the PHP logs.
