Hello! AND THANK YOU for your kind words 🙂
in MacOS (which is my only OS) works with CMD+K. It opens the integrated AI. Only if you have a OpenAI added, then you can do things like:
Hey, I remember a post about some dish where a particular user asked me to use salt instead of sugar. Find that post please
@epeicher added some shortcuts to navigate between the opened windows, but I guess we have not documented it. We can work on more commands for the integrated IA (without using at all the AI), like open window, etc.
Is there anything in particular you’d like to see quickly in our next release?

Hey Daniel, thanks for getting back!
Yes, I’ve been testing command+K for the AI prompt window – works great! though, I can’t lie: since the introduction on the command palette in WP, especially the 6.9 update to it, it has been a game changer for navigating the WP admin super fast – obviously the “desktop mode” plug-in is a full takeover of the admin, but I wouldn’t mind knowing what the idea is behind not having the default command palette available also, as is such a powerful feature?
So yes, in respect to features/workflow: it would be amazing if we could specifically have keyboard shortcuts to be able to toggle through whatever widows are on the “Desktop Mode” desktop.
And another keyboard shortcut to be able to toggle between the “Desktop Mode” desktops themselves if you have more then 1 or multiples – so we don’t have to go to “Arrange” > “Overview” to see them and navigate to them from there.
One other thing that I’ve just noticed (and forgive me for putting this on the same thread) but when you minimise open windows unless it’s the top level window (for example pages), I can’t see where this is shown on the interface anywhere, yes the pages icon has a highlight on it and it also will show the main pages screen when you hover on the icon and click on it, but there’s no indication anywhere on the general interface or under the pages icon that they are other sub pages open (or how to show them without going to “arrange” > “tile all windows”) and I was wondering, am I missing something? I.e. on a true desktop app if you minimise the window, you’d see it in your tray or in your mac dock?
Thanks!
Jakson
Hi Jackson, thank you very much for the great feedback!
With regards to “have keyboard shortcuts to be able to toggle through whatever widows are on the “Desktop Mode” desktop.”, you can try the backtick ` key for that. It is not documented yet, as it doesn’t work well for languages other than English, but we will work on making it more generically available.
Hope it helps!

Oh yes Roberto!
The backtick ` key is perfect! – and if you hold down shift it goes in reverse – awesome!
So yes, if we could have a keyboard shortcut to nav between the “desktops” in “Desktop Mode”, it would take care of moving around the work spaces and make the plug the total replacement for multiple native OS desktops and multiple browser windows.
Thanks again for all your work 🙏
@jaskon is this good? Will be included in the next release 🙂

I’ll plan more native desktop commands (navigate between windows, create new desktop, etc)
It was actually shipped already. But we are close to the speed of light shipping things. We ship 20, we accidentally break 2 existing features 🙂 It just needed a bit more of love
