    Hi,

I upgraded the Wordfence plugin today, and it says “Tables missing (prefix xxxx_, regular case): wfAuditEvents, wfSecurityEvents, wfBlocks7, wfConfig, wfCrawlers, wfFileChanges, wfHits, wfIssues, wfPendingIssues, wfTrafficRates, wfLocs, wfLogins, wfReverseCache, wfStatus, wfHoover, wfFileMods, wfBlockedIPLog, wfSNIPCache, wfKnownFileList, wfNotifications, wfLiveTrafficHuman, wfWafFailures

I am sure it says All tables are there” before the upgrade. When it says “Tables missing”, I check the PhpMyadmin, all tables are still there: https://picshack.net/ib/e6Ytrwg4Ch

I already deactivate Wordfence, then activate it, but doesn’t help.

    Hi @luislu,

Thank you for reaching out. This usually happens when a site was developed on Windows and moved to a Linux server, or when the database server itself is configured to force table names to lowercase.

Since the tables exist and the plugin can still read and write to them, this is a cosmetic issue with the diagnostic display and can be safely ignored. Scans, firewall, blocking, and updates all run successfully against the tables, regardless of the case mismatch.

That said, if anything else looks off, please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

    Hi @wfmargaret ,

No issues have been found yet. Could you please fix this false positive in the next version?

    Thank you.

    Hi @luislu,

I’m glad to hear nothing else is off. The team is aware of this false positive and has it on their list to look into, but I’m not able to give you a timeline for when a fix will land. The warning remains safe to ignore in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Margaret
