Please include an option to disable Content Analysis (!) and the blue button, that leads to the SEO meta box, in version 9.8.

Furthermore, it would be very helpful, if the SEO meta box were displayed directly below the WordPress post again, and not only after clicking a button.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,

please update to version 9.8.1 to get a new option from SEO, Advanced, Appearance to disable the SEO beacon in frontend.

Metaboxes are almost entirely deprecated by WordPress core. To support RTC (real-time collaboration), they will have to disappear completely.

Furthermore, maintaining multiple systems for editing SEO becomes very difficult.
We’ve taken your feedback into account and will look at how to optimize the user experience.

@rainbowgeek so you are going to abandon meta boxes in order to support a feature (RTC) which hardly anybody is going to use?

    Hi,

please update to version 9.8.3 to get the universal SEO metabox directly accessible inside a classic metabox.

There is only 1 metabox with dedicated tabs now. This allows for a unified experience across different WordPress installations, regardless of theme and plugin configurations. It also significantly simplifies code maintenance on our end.

We’ll study the possibility to add a hook to filter the tabs for the SEO metabox.

The latest update (9.8.4) should solve all the issues experienced.
