Quick clone workflow

    Small question. When copying a post with Yoast Duplicate Post, do most people clone it as a draft first, then edit the title and slug? I just want to avoid publishing anything by mistake.

    Hi @iyana303
    if you want to be safe, use New Draft rather than Clone. “New Draft” always creates a draft copy regardless of settings. “Clone” creates a copy with whatever status is configured under Settings > Duplicate Post > What to copy, which could be something other than draft if someone changed it.
