[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] IDN domain referrer

I have wordpress blog on IDN domain and I am using wordpress stats plugin to track referrers. I have 2 problems with referrer tracking.

1st problem is that wordpress stats plugin adds all internal link clicks to refferers list. Entries look like “xn--my-own-idn-site-name” which is my own IDN domain name url. So I have plenty of false refferers like this.

2nd problem is similar to 1st one. I have plenty of false referrers that look like “my-own-site-%u017ename”. These are clicks on internal links within my IDN site. In these referrer entries all non ascii characters are changed to values like %u017e (this one stands for “ž” in IDN domain name).

A lot of internal clicks are falsely counted as referrers by the wordpress stats plugin and produce entries either of type “xn-my-idn-name” or type “my-idn-name%u017e” in the referrer list.
