Just trying to understand the duplicate option better. When I clone a post, is there a way to avoid copying some old SEO/meta info, or should I clean that manually after creating the draft?

    Hi @randy210!

Yes, you can control this without cleaning up by hand.

Go to Settings → Duplicate Post → “What to copy” tab. You have two options there:

    1. Post/page elements to copy: uncheck Custom fields entirely if you don’t want any meta copied across.
    2. Do not copy these fields: keep custom fields enabled, but list the specific meta keys you want skipped (comma-separated). Wildcards with * are supported, so for
example _yoast_wpseo* would skip every Yoast SEO meta key in one go. You can list other plugins’ keys here too. Whichever you save will apply to every clone you make from then on, so you only have to set it once.

    Hope that helps!
