How to test when using elementor pro template

    Hi guys,

    I want to A/B test 2 versions of single product page layout, but the version B is a duplicated version of version A, so even i made changed on version B (edit with elementor), the “display and condition” on elementor pro template will still override the new layout of version B. How can I get way from that?

    Really appreciated.

    hi Kenny,

    This comes down to how Elementor Pro applies its templates.

    abtestkit keeps the original product ID for checkout/stock consistency, so Elementor still sees both Version A and B as the same product

    and applies the same Single Product template to both. That means the template’s display conditions will override any layout changes made in Version B.

    Because of that, testing completely different Elementor product templates per variant isn’t supported in 1.3.6.

    there are a couple of options of how I could get this working, one being that you create a version b of the template in Elementor, then apply that template to version b of a product test, would that be useful to you?

    The other option is to build specific Elementor template testing which would be much more complicated and further down the line.
