    Hello

My website was 50% built on wordpress.org then migrated to a staging site through our hosting company.

This message is now appearing: “Your API key to send with MailPoet is invalid.”

The wordpress.org website is now dleted and our staging site needs to be working ready for our client review. Once approved, we will be migrating to the main domain : https://butterflyclips.com.au/

Can someone fix this please? or can you advise how we can migrate without having this issue?

    THnak you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @coastalmarketingwa

    Thanks for reaching out.

What you’re seeing can happen after a site is migrated or cloned, because the MailPoet key can only be activated on a single site/URL at a time: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/194-instructions-to-activate-your-mailpoet-key

On the current site, please try the following:

    1. Go to MailPoet → Settings → Key Activation
    2. Check whether the current key/connection is still shown there
    3. Try reconnecting/reactivating MailPoet from that screen

If the key is still associated with the previous site/domain, you may need to disconnect it first and then activate it again on the new site. More details here.

If the site is only being used for client review and you do not need to send emails from it yet, you can also leave MailPoet disconnected for now and reconnect it once the site is on its final live domain.

If reconnecting does not help, please share a screenshot of MailPoet → Settings → Key Activation here in the thread and we can try to guide you further.
