• my domain stefansonesson.se points to zephram.sytes.net that keeps my dynamic IP address.

I got WordPress up and running but…if I enter stefansonesson.se as site-url and home the blog shows only text. If I enter zephram.sytes.net as site-url and home it shows the nice Greyzed theme.

(In WordPress settings, the two fields are called WordPress address and Site address.)

Why, and can I correct this?

    Safe journeys,

  • Both URLs show identical content, maybe it was just your browser cache causing problems.

    Thanks for your reply.
Yes the content is the same.

I try to elaborate a little.

If you go to http://stefansonesson.se then hover over e.g. the Home menu item, what does the status bar of your browser show the link points to?

For me the links point to zephram.sytes.net regardless of cache or not.
I would like it to show stefansonesson.se

    Regards,

    Found 2 solutions.

Set Site address to stefansonesson.se and keep WordPress address at zephram.sytes.net not pleasing since you see the zephram text at times.

What I did was use a shellscript to update my IP at my DNS provider.
Set my DNS to the IP at my provider and drop the redirect to zephram.sytes.net totally.
