Hi there,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention I understand how confusing this can be, especially when it behaves differently on mobile compared to desktop.
I’ve tried to replicate this on my mobile device, but I’m not able to reproduce the issue on my end. To help us better understand what’s happening on your site, could you please record a short video showing the exact steps and behavior?
You can use one of the following tools to record and share the video:
Also, could you confirm:
- Is this happening with only a specific product, or with any product on your store?
Additionally, I would suggest setting up a staging site and testing there:
- Create a staging site using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/
- Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce
- Try to reproduce the issue again and record the video
This will help determine if a plugin or theme conflict is involved.
Here’s the screen recording: https://www.loom.com/share/75498b350ab84c75ada945a32a25d781
While there is only one product on the store, this is happening only for this item.
Hi @wildcomp,
Thanks for sharing the screen recording. That was really helpful.
I went ahead and tested your product page on my side, and the checkout flow is working as expected. Here’s my recording of the process: https://share.zight.com/GGugE2Be
I also tried increasing the quantity in the cart and going through the checkout again. The totals updated correctly and everything behaved normally. Here’s that recording as well:

Since it’s working consistently on my end, it might be something browser‑specific. When you get a chance, could you try the same steps using another browser like Edge or Firefox, or even test from another device? That will help confirm whether the issue is isolated to Chrome on your setup.
Let me know what you find. Happy to keep digging if needed.
Hi! Thanks for help 🙂
The videos you did show no error and that’s normal because it doesn’t show my problem. Please try this:
- Go on the cart page
- Add one or more items
- Go back on the product page
Then, you’ll see that the number of items didn’t change.
Hi @wildcomp,
Thanks for the additional clarification and steps, I can see exactly what you’re pointing out now and how that flow could be confusing on mobile.
I followed your exact steps on my end, adding items from the cart page, returning to the product page, and checking the cart state. From my test here, everything continues to work as expected and the cart contents persist correctly: https://cln.sh/SQPLzPWNyh1XtdBLzDx5.
Since I’m not seeing the same behavior, I’d like to better understand what’s happening on your side. When you return to the product page and see the cart as empty, could you confirm:
- Does the cart icon or mini cart show 0 items as well
- Or is it only the product page that appears reset
- If you go back to the cart page again, are the items still there or gone completely
This will help narrow down whether it’s a display issue, session issue, or something specific to that product setup. Looking forward to your findings so we can pinpoint this further.
Hello, thanks for your help 🙂
In the screen recording you sent, you can see the product number doesn’t display at all when you come back to the product page. I mean the mini cart and the button “Ajouter au panier”. We have to refresh the page or to add another one to see the exact amount of items to buy.
