Thank you so much for that very first positive comment ! 😊 I’m glad you like the ambient of this theme, that i wanted Matrix, Cyber Punk inspired.
Regarding the Full Site Editing part: you’re right. The theme is currently technically a hybrid theme, not a pure Full Site Editing (FSE) block theme.
Originally, I wanted to make it a full FSE theme from the start, but during the submission process on WordPress.org, i was surprised by the the strict requirements (especially forcing a lot of PHP templates) pushed me to go with a hybrid approach. As a matter of fact the result is not entirely as i expected because the FSE seems, in fact, completely missing.
I’m actively working on improving this and expanding the visual editing possibilities. Your feedback is really valuable and motivates me to push further in that direction!
As soon as i have figured all this out, i’m telling you, don’t worry, It’s Coming !

Just saw the 1.3 update! Love how fast you were able to add full site editing parts. This will make it so much easier to tweak the layout.
Something to consider as well might be making the header and footer consistent through the site with templates. Edit once use everywhere. Not a huge deal but will probably help!
This is a huge step though, and now I can really tweak this. I use it with ultimate member and the events calendar. The animated background it’s absolutely epic! I’m a huge matrix and tech fan. One of the coolest themes I’ve seen!
ah I see they modified block locations for menus. So your theme does a great job. Still has classic remnants of menu locations for primary and footer that aren’t needed anymore. And your header and footer template parts are great. Honestly this is such great clean theme. People can then customize the js if they want to tweak the animation. Menus look great. Thanks again for all your work! Best theme.

Glad the 1.3.0 cleanup works for you! As you see with FSE now You can edit parts/header.html once in the Site Editor and it will sync across all your Ultimate Member/Events pages automatically. No more legacy PHP hacks needed.
As for those looking to customize and improve their Experience/Environment further, If you want to tweak the JS animation or the CSS specifically for your layout without cluttering your templates with messy inline scripts, I’ve got a small companion plugin: FSE Power Tools, was initially designed to go pair with the Second Coming theme.
WordPress.org blocked it from the official repo because of their strict (paranoid?) policies on direct JS injection, but it’s perfect for power users who own their sites and know what they’re doing.
