All of our websites that have Cleantalk enabled are loading very slowly. This started recently and our server support staff notified us it was an issue with the Cleantalk plugin. I found another thread where an agency had a similiar issue and they were provided with a patched version “6.74.99-fix” and I installed it on hundreds of sites, but it has not resolved our issue. When I deactivate the Cleantalk plugin, the sites load immediately. This may be ip specific. If I disconnect my phone from the wifi and load the sites, they load quickly. This has become an issue for our entire staff that is trying to work on these sites from the studio. Please advise. Thanks!

    Hello sieverscreative,

Could you please provide a few IP addresses from which the sites were accessed and where there were issues with loading speed? We’ll check the log.

I appreciate you looking into this for us. The ip address at our office is 206.230.107.87. An example of one of the sites that we have had recent issues with is petperimeters.com. When the issue begins, it happens across all of the sites that we manage and becomes an issue for our entire staff. Deactivating Cleantalk resolves the issue immediately. We have fast, reliable internet access. It seems to become an issue when I am running through multiple sites performing software updates.

Thank you. We’ll look into this on our end.

Could you please confirm whether there are currently any performance issues on the sites where the plugin is activated?

Hello. Is this the same patch “Version 6.74.99-fix” that I had installed on all of our sites prior to starting this ticket? I had referrenced it in my innitial request.

I am maintaining approximately 300 sites right now and manually deactivating, removing, and replacing this plugin on every site is a very time consuming process. With this process, I am unable to pull Cleantalk’s access key at installation so I also need to go find it for every client in our Cleantalk’s dashboard. I went through this last week and it took numerous hours I really didn’t have. Do we have any idea when a patch will be provided that I could automatically update to?

Thank you for the clarification. I am going to try to hold off until tomorrow so that I am able to push the update across all of the sites. This will save me a significant amount of time. Thanks!

Is this related to your Javascript file named ct-bot-detector-wrapper taking forver to load? If so, will this be updated in your new release? It’s causing our site to load very slowly.
