Avada builder conflict

    Since the Avada builder update from today, the events calander doesn’t work anymore. The page that is supposed to show the monthly calender now shows regular posts. Nothing else is shown, not even the filters.

    When enabling wp-debug, it shows the following error:
    Warning: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/injipsing/domains/xxx.nl/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-query.php on line 4739

    When disabling “Avada builder”, one of the plugins required by the Avada theme. The calendar view works again. When changing the theme from “Avada” to the default WordPress theme, the calendar view does NOT work until also “Avada builder” has been disabled. The problem is 100% related with “Avada builder” plugin.

    Please fix 🙂

    I’ve tested this on my end but wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. To help us investigate further, could you please share the versions of the following from your setup?

    • Avada Builder
    • Avada Theme
    • The Events Calendar
    • The Events Calendar PRO (if installed)
    • Event Tickets
    • Event Tickets Plus (if installed)
    • WordPress
    • PHP

    Once I have this information, I’ll be happy to take a closer look.

    Thanks for your response and for sharing your system information.

    It appears that the version I’m using is outdated. Let me look into this further on my end.

    In the meantime, if you haven’t already, I recommend reaching out to Avada support as well. They may have existing reports about this issue and might be able to provide a workaround.

    Fixed after un-assigning the Events Archive page from Archives layout in Avada settings
