Hi, another complaint about transients+object cache, I’m experiencing slow wp-admin too, connection test on mecached and redis is ok (it doesn’t fail).

Are you working on any solution or we ( with this problem) we need to reinstall 7.7 ?

Yesterday I tried it didn’t improve very much. I regressed to 7.7 and it’s way more fast

Seems like I’m having trouble with wc latest version + litespeed 7.7 as well, if I deactivate object cache all works normal

Same experience here across two separate hosts. When Redis object cache is enabled, the site admin is very slow and the ‘updates’ counter is also buggy. Moreover, it prevents WP Umbrella from being able to see or execute updates remotely.

Rolling back to 7.7 fixes the issue, as does disabling Redis.

@nickwilmot we have a patch ready and ca be tested.
To test it, please go to LSC => Toolbox => Beta Test => Click on Use latest GitHub Master commit (master) and give it a try.
    Thank you 🙂

not to hijack a thread but im having the same issue. been wondering for days why is my backend so slow and my redis crashed my host said my mariadb grew 10+gb so resetted redis and mariadb but at the same time (this was after a critical error) same time i cant see transcients it just shows 0 does feel like its not caching properly. works fine AFTER i clear Redis via Cpanel and via Litespeed.

im going to roll back to 7.7 as per other thread but thought this might help

    nice will do that
    PS have to tell you

It was a combination of DDOS on my end (bot scrapers ive been fighting off since last year i have geoblocking on but passed week they been using local servers ive implemented a new “security method:” to attack them.

on this fix ill update it today and keep an eye out but yes was a combination of SQL tables _options growing large and not being indexed properly ive optimised it and then 400k bat bot scrappers eating my Ram (7/9GB and 90% cpu cause of it.
